Georgia Reed Shares New Single ‘Haunted’
Australian singer and songwriter Georgia Reed is back with her brand new single Haunted, her first release since relocating permanently to the UK in 2019, and is the first of four singles set for release over the next six months in preparation for her long awaited debut EP release in March.
What I like the most about this song is her velvety, hazy and haunting vocal delivery which exudes so much soul and passion that is impossible not to fall in love with it. Apart from her gorgeous vocals, I am particularly fond of the steady drum patterns seamlessly paired with cool guitar plucks, a driving bass line and phased-out synths that together create an overall warm, haunting atmosphere that culminates into a memorable, energetic chorus perfect to sing along to. Her echoing harmonies and driving bass line are definitely my favourite elements of the song and listening to it instantly gives me late night drive vibes. Check it out below!

I wrote Haunted many years ago, at a time when my whole life had changed suddenly. I would play it acoustically at shows, but It wasn’t until we started recording it that I realised it was probably my favourite song I’ve ever written.
