Gone Sugar Die, the project of Canadian artists Patrick McWilliams and Mike Hindert, share their brand new single Depression, an upbeat indie-pop song taken from their upcoming EP set to arrive in Spring 2024! 

 

I am really enjoying the contrast between the lyrics and upbeat production, instantly making this quite a memorable listening experience. The smooth, expressive vocals glide confidently over the bright, hazy synth lines which are seamlessly paired with cool guitar plucks and steady drum patterns that together create an overall upbeat, playful atmosphere.
