Walker Burroughs Shares New Single ‘Breathe’

Nashville-based singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Walker Burroughs returns with his brand new single Breathe, a stunning indie folk song that shares a wish for freedom from capitalism. 

 

I am a fan of the tone of his voice and how soothing and expressive it sounds, beautifully capturing my attention to his storytelling. Breathe shares Walker's wishes to be free from unchecked capitalism and how greed and the system creates an unjust world. The song shares a message of being able to treasure every one of the few moments we have on earth, a message wrapped around a memorable production that pairs indie, folk and orchestral instrumentation. I am particularly fond of the emotive piano keys and how they are beautifully intertwined with intricate acoustic guitar plucks and lush strings, together creating a warm atmosphere perfect for a reflective day.
