The Feeling x Lucie Silvas Share New Single ‘I Won’t Sleep Tonight’
Ivor Novello award-winning, multi-platinum selling indie-pop band, The Feeling team up with Nashville-based British singer-songwriter, Lucie Silvas to release I Won't Sleep Tonight, a beautiful and soaring duet out now on Little World Records.
The second single to be taken from the band's forthcoming album San Vito, set to arrive on April 12th, I Won't Sleep Tonight is a song about the moment following a big argument where you're alone with your thoughts, playing things in your mind and just hoping things will get back to normal soon. A very relatable, honest storytelling that is flawlessly delivered through Dan Gillespie and Lucie's gorgeous, passionate vocals that exude raw emotion and soul. I am a sucker for big, powerful vocals and this song is a great example of that, with the entire production allowing for the listeners to truly focus on the emotion of their relatable storytelling.
Apart from the vocals, I am particularly fond of the emotive piano keys seamlessly paired with steady drum patterns and amazing pedal steel guitar that build up in pace and energy to culminate into an explosive moment perfect to sing out loud! An epic of a song that you can check out below!

This song is about that moment after a big argument, when you’re alone and hoping desperately that things can go back to normal. We initially recorded the main track and could hear immediately that it would make a great duet. I have always been a fan of Lucie Silvas and we knew her stunning voice would elevate the song to a whole new level. That and some amazing pedal steel guitar playing by the legendary B.J. Cole.
