Canadian synth/dream-pop project A Days Wait have just shared their brand new single Lay It Down, a cool soft-rock cut out now via Fall Back Plan Record. 

 

I am really enjoying the retro vibes of the song with the smooth, delicate vocals gliding beautifully over a warm, captivating blend of soft-rock and synth-pop elements. Lay It Down is a song about pulling out of the bleakness and back to the moment, a message beautifully delivered through those evocative vocals which are accompanied by steady drum patterns, cool guitars, subtle piano keys and bright, hazy synths that come together to create an overall warm, laid-back atmosphere.
