Bird Shares New Single ‘What The Night Knows’

Bird, the moniker of British/Irish singer and songwriter Janie Price shares her brand new single What The Night Knows, a dreamy piece of indie-pop music. 

 

Out now via Pop Fiction Records, What The Night Knows was co-written with her friend Jeroen Swinnen and finds the talented artist singing about how the night represents not only a time to perform and create but also a time where she asks some of the most important questions to herself. A song about a place between sleep and wake and questioning, about self-reflection that is flawlessly conveyed through her gorgeous vocals and dreamy, enchanting harmonies which instantly infuse the song with an airy, ethereal touch. I am particularly fond of the lush, cinematic strings and how they are seamlessly intertwined with cool guitar plucks, subtle harp and an infectious Massive Attack/late 90s-inspired beat that come together to create an overall warm, laid-back atmosphere perfect for an introspective day home alone.
