2young evolved from an errant synth riff that captured my imagination; there was something magical about the way it was modulating. While inspired, I quickly arranged some other production and sent it to Rromarin. She returned with ethereal vocals that told a story about toxic love and the mistakes of youth, floating in a suburban world. I want my music to conjure feelings of nostalgia and emotive memories. This song felt like it perfectly captured that energy, and I love the way that the production aligns with Rromarin’s vocals to paint a vivid image.
