Luna Keller Shares New Single ‘Woman In My Mirror’
Spanish/German singer and songwriter Luna Keller shares her brand new single Woman In My Mirror, a warm, intimate piece of acoustic folk music!
Taken from her sophomore album Ocean Inside Of Me, which is out now, Woman In My Mirror is an introspective piece of music that finds the talented artist beautifully showcasing her lovely, heartfelt vocals and storytelling abilities over a delicate acoustic folk production. This song serves as a poignant love song to herself, a declaration that is unconditional, loving and kind. I am really enjoying the warmth of the song and how it encourages us to foster a healthy relationship with ourselves, emphasizing that we cannot control the ocean of life, we can choose how to navigate it. Life is about managing the storms and cherishing the calm waters, knowing that we are worthy of love both at our best and our worst. Apart from her lovely vocals and dreamy harmonies I am particularly fond of the delicate acoustic guitars and emotive piano keys that together create an overall warm, intimate atmosphere perfect for a reflective day home alone.
Speaking about the song, Keller said,
I always knew that “Woman In My Mirror” had to be the closing track of “Ocean Inside Of Me” because what I learned from going through depression is that the goal is not happiness or to never struggle again. The goal is to have a good relationship with myself so that I can cope with my struggles in healthy, kind and loving ways. Things do get better, and they get worse too (high low high low is all I know) - that’s just life. We cannot control the ocean, but we can choose how to navigate it, look after our boat and bring together a great crew. We can make the storm manageable and even if we do go over board, teach ourselves how to swim, how to let our crew know that we need them to throw a rope.
