Red Moon Shares New Single ‘I Run’

Norwegian 'siren pop' singer, songwriter & visual artist Red Moon shares her incredibly infectious new single I Run.

Her first new music in three years, I Run finds the ever-enchanting Red Moon venturing in a new sonic direction as she experiments with elements of pop, drum ‘n’ bass and trap, all wrapped up in her hypnotic vocal delivery. Produced by London based producer Andrea Rocha, Red Moon wrote the track as a love letter to her friend, a beautiful relatable message wrapped around a memorable production that instantly got me excited to want to share it with you guys.

I adore Red Moon's enchanting, siren-esque vocals which radiate so much soul and emotion, effortlessly infusing the song with a dreamy touch that sounds quite comforting and endearing. Apart from her celestial vocals, I am particularly fond of the trap-infused beat and how it is nicely intertwined with drum 'n' bass rhythms seamlessly intertwined with lush synths and cinematic strings that come together to create an overall warm, dreamy atmosphere perfect for a laid-back weekend.

Speaking about the song, Red Moon says,
The week I wrote this song, I met up with one of my best friends who at that time lived a bit outside of London. I hadn’t expected we’d be able to meet, but we managed to make it happen. My intention for this song was to capture the emotion of how someone close to you can enhance and elevate the different and unique sides of you. I think friendships have been a true mirror and also the ones who inspire me to become more of myself. This song is an ode and love letter to my amazing friends, family, and soul family who have been my support system over the last three years. In the end, the song can be whatever it is for you - it could be about your best friend, someone you’re in love with, or even a mantra to yourself. I’d love for it to connect with others in the way you can dream big with your best friends. Accompanying the release, Red Moon shares its striking music video, directed by Marie Sutter, which effortlessly enhances the song's dreamy, chill vibes!
