townsend, the moniker of Nashville-based singer, songwriter, musician and producer John Townsend, has just shared his brand new single death of me, the first single to be lifted from his upcoming EP set to arrive later this year. 

 

I am a fan of townsend's vocals which radiate so much confidence, soul and passion that instantly got me hooked to the song. death of me is a relatable song about being so enthralled by someone that may not be that good for you but you can't stop being with them as you are now in too deep. I am really enjoying the country music touches with the acoustic guitar riffs that are beautifully paired with a thumping, trap-inspired beat that create the perfect soundscape for townsend's gorgeous vocals and passionate storytelling to soar.
