Emily Sara Shares New Single ‘Aura’

 

Brooklyn-based singer and songwriter Emily Sara shares her brand new single Aura, a dreamy indie folk-soul ballad with a cinematic atmosphere. 

 

Aura is based on her own love story related to the myth of Ariadne who after being seduced and abandoned by Theseus, is found by Dionysus, God of wine and pleasure. They fall in love and on their wedding day Dionysus takes Ariadne’s jeweled crown and throws it into the sky, creating a constellation called the Corona Borealis. With this song the talented artist wants to convey the peace and joy of the love between these two characters, a message flawlessly delivered through her warm, expressive vocals which soar effortlessly over the captivating production. Backing her smooth, yet passionate delivery and haunting harmonies, we have delicate piano keys seamlessly intertwined with ethereal synths and pounding drums that together create an overall warm emotive and intimate listening experience.
