Party of the Sun Share New Single ‘River’

New Hampshire-based psychedelic folk band Party of the Sun, composed of Ethan McBrien, Rory Hurley, and Garrett Cameron, share their latest double single, Giver/River, out now via Trailing Twelve Records. 

 

This new release explores the complexities of navigating unprecedented times with River having a more somber tone with its melancholic instrumentation that won me over from the start. I am loving those smooth, evocative vocals which glide nonchalantly over the delicate production, reflecting on the complexities of change and the search for peace. Apart from those gorgeous vocals, I am particularly fond of the acoustic guitar-based melodies that create an overall warm, intimate atmosphere for those vocals and introspective lyrics to soar.
