What I like the most about this song is Walsh's vocals and how passionate and expressive his delivery is, effortlessly conveying the raw emotion of his heartfelt storytelling. Strangers At The Bar is a song about the magic moments in a long term relationship when the butterflies return, a relatable message wrapped around a delicate and intimate production. Apart from his stunning vocals, I am particularly fond of the delicate guitar riffs nicely intertwined with the amazing strings of Izzi Dunn, together creating an overall warm, intimate atmosphere perfect for an introspective day home alone.
