Julia Logan Shares New Single ‘Moodswings’

Swedish singer and songwriter Julia Logan shares her brand new single Moodswings, the latest single to be taken from her upcoming album Faraway Nearby set to arrive on November 1st via Dumont Dumont. 

 

I am really enjoying Logan's smooth, enchanting vocals which glide effortlessly over the dreamy folk-pop production by Daniel Bengtson. Moodswings delves into themes of loneliness, longing, and the inevitability of separation using imagery of nature and the sky to depict the speaker’s inner turmoil. A message flawlessly conveyed through Logan's gorgeous vocals which are nicely backed by intricate guitar riffs, delicate piano keys and steady drum patterns that culminate into a highly infectious chorus. The overall atmosphere of the song is quite soothing with touches of melancholia, perfect for an introspective day home alone.
