I wrote the song as summer was approaching, and I wanted to create a dreamy, summery world for people to escape to when they listened to the song. I wanted the listener to feel that soothing, comforting, warm feeling on a summer’s day - laying on a beach or by a pool, sipping cold iced tea. Even if you can’t physically experience that, I wanted the song to still offer that feeling to you! To bring you some sunshine!’
