Boy Jr., the songwriting/production project of Ariel Allen-Lubman (they/them), share their brand new single Your Mom Is Disappointed In You, the last single to be taken from Boy Jr.'s highly anticipated album I Love Getting Dumped, which is out now! 

 

Written about dating someone who doesn't have it together, Your Mom Is Disappointed In You finds Boy Jr. pouring their heart out, singing about someone immature and filled with contradictions that don't make sense. A relatable song that is wrapped around a downtempo synth-pop production that instantly won me over. I am particularly fond of the energetic synths and guitars which are nicely paired with a steady beat and rhythms that come together to create an overall confident, energetic atmosphere.
