Devarrow Shares New Single ‘Lightning Bolt’

Devarrow, the moniker of Canadian singer, songwriter and producer Graham Ereaux, shares his brand new single Lightning Bolt, the latest single to be lifted from his second studio album, Heart Shaped Rock, out now via Paper Bag Records. 

 

One of the more electrifying offerings from this album, Lightning Bolt is a surf-folk/pop gem packed with raw energy and tons of groove that won me over from the start. Devarrow sings about the struggles of getting things done with so many distractions, a relatable message delivered through his smooth, confident vocals that exude so much passion while soaring beautifully over the upbeat production, effortlessly enhancing the song's feel-good, high-energy vibes. Lightning Bolt is an uptempo fusion of old-school grit and modern flair, pairing lush bass guitar with punchy drums, soaring guitars and cool rhythms that come together to create a blissful listening experience.

Speaking about the song, Devarrow said,

Lyrically, I was striving for something that reflected a bit of the laid back vibe of being down at the bus, mixed with the idea that some days it's just impossible to get anything done with so many distractions. Half the trouble with slowing down is just getting past all the distractions which pass you along the way.
