Julian Daniel Shares New Single ‘do you feel me?’
Canadian singer and songwriter Julian Daniel has just shared his brand new single do you feel me?, a lovely indie-pop song out now via Wax Records.
Co-written with Sofia Mills, do you feel me? is a nostalgia-infused piece of music that invites listeners to recall memories of their former loves. A song meant to touch our souls and hearts that is beautifully conveyed through Daniel's smooth tone and Mills's delicate, dulcet vocals, both packed with emotion and complementing each other effortlessly. Apart from their vocals I am particularly fond of the lush piano keys nicely paired with killer guitar riffs (and solo), subtle synths and drums that come together to create an overall warm, timeless listening experience.
Speaking about the collaboration, Julian Daniel said,
It was supposed to be a solo song but, during the writing process, we realized it needed both perspectives in the relationship. I asked my friend Sofia Mills to write the second verse which perfectly encapsulates the emotions and headspace “do you feel me?” needed. She wrote her verse in 15 minutes, recorded it in Glendale, and we absolutely fell in love with it.
