Laila Shares New Single ‘Casper’

Jordanian-Canadian singer, songwriter and actress Laila has just unveiled her brand new single Casper, an upbeat indie-pop gem. 

 

What I like the most about this song is Laila's voice and how passionate and powerful her vocal delivery is, effortlessly capturing my attention from start to finish. Co-written by Laila Kharouba and Michael Danforth Edwards, Casper finds the talented artist singing about having relationships with men that tend to disappear after a while, basically ghosting her. Unfortunately this is a very common thing and Laila beautifully captures this experience through an upbeat indie-pop gem that is perfect to sing along to and to get you in a good mood in no time. Apart from her vocals, I am particularly fond of the soaring guitars, punchy drums and infectious chorus that makes this a great song for radios and for a fun weekend.
