Oscar and the Wolf Shares New Single ’Pretty Little Thing’

Oscar and the Wolf, the moniker of Belgian artist Max Colombie, shares his brand new single Pretty Little Thing, the latest single to be taken from his 4th studio album, TASTE, out now via Sony Music Entertainment.

I am loving the song's warmth and how its comforting, upbeat melodies contrast with the darker lyrical content. The production creates such a relaxing atmosphere that instantly got me in a good mood, wanting to just sit back and enjoy my day. Colombie's pitch-bended vocals infuse the song with a touch of vulnerability and naivete that is enhanced by the delicate guitar plucks and steady drum patterns. However the innocent vibe of the vocals also hit at something sinister simmering beneath, making the song even more of a memorable and enthralling listening experience. I am always coming back to this song as its warmth and groove make it so hypnotic and perfect for a laid-back day, instantly getting me excited to want to share it with you guys. It's a perfect blend of lush vocals with groovy synths, killer guitars and steady drums that are quite comforting and make the song very addictive and relaxing.

Speaking about the song, Oscar and the Wolf said,
The album starts somewhere where 'you're in love, in the morning it's sunny, and you smoke a joint, and maybe I'll have a first cocktail and it's all very beautiful, naive and innocent. I actually wanted to sound like an innocent and powerless little girl. A very young and naive-sounding voice, which makes it seem like there's something very supernatural about it. It's the start of the album. The start of the story is the illusion of it all.
