&Tilly x Timberly Share New Single ‘Of Monsters and Shadows’

Czech artist &Tilly teams up with fellow Swedish artist Timberly teamed up to create Of Monsters and Shadows, a dreamy indie-pop song that looks into the darker parts of ourselves. 

 

Their second collaboration to date, Of Monsters and Shadows blends light, catchy melodies with lyrics that are playful yet haunting. The song finds the duo sharing a message that, in many ways, we are the monsters – to ourselves, to others, and to the world and nature around us. A personal, yet universal message beautifully delivered through their gorgeous vocals which glide nonchalantly over the polished production. I am loving the warmth of the song and how airy and light the production is, contrasting with the deeper lyrical content. Apart from their vocals and ethereal harmonies, I am particularly fond of the cool rhythms, expansive synths and steady percussive elements that create an overall warm atmosphere perfect for an introspective day home alone.
