Anonymous German producer, classically trained pianist and multi-instrumentalist, deathbypeanuts teams up with American Ghanaian/American singer-songwriter, rapper and dancer NanaBcool, Ghanaian-born artist Selassie and producer Dexter Francis Mason to deliver Nightrider, a super chill, laid-back piece of Neo-Soul/Contemporary R&B. 

 

This gem is taken from deathbypeanuts's debut EP R.I.P, out now via Lekker Collective, and finds all artists combining their skills into a highly addictive and memorable listening experience that instantly got me in a good mood and longing for a relaxing weekend. I am particularly fond of those gorgeous vocals and how they fit perfectly together, radiating raw emotion and soul while gliding nonchalantly over the chilled out production. Apart from those stunning vocals I am particularly fond of the lush guitar plucks which are beautifully intertwined with a killer bass, rich textures and rhythms that come together to create an overall warm, comforting atmosphere perfect for a late night drive or introspective day home alone.
