Izza Shares New Single ‘Imperfections’

Los Angeles-based singer and songwriter Izza shares her brand new single Imperfections, a heartfelt electro-pop song that dives into the pressures of society's beauty standards while celebrating self-love. 

 

The latest single to be taken from her Because I'm Blonde EP, out now via Red Roze Records, Imperfections finds the talented artist highlighting her vulnerability with soulful, heartfelt vocals and relatable lyrics over a flowing piano melody that creates a chill vibe so listeners can confront their insecurities. I am really enjoying the emotive piano keys and how they are nicely intertwined with lush atmospherics and synths that enhance the raw emotion pouring from Izza's gorgeous vocals and haunting harmonies which together create an overall warm, intimate atmosphere perfect for an introspective day home alone.

Speaking about the EP, Izza said,

While being blonde makes me feel confident and sexy at times, I also can feel like I'm not taken seriously when it comes to dating. The insecurities of being labeled the "fun blonde" or the girl that's only wanted for a "good time" has made me question my appearance and its connotations. Ultimately, writing and producing this EP has taught me to celebrate my blondeness and use it as a strength.
