Julia Raye Shares New Single ‘Wish You Stayed’
Rising New York-based singer & songwriter Julia Raye shares her brand new single Wish You Stayed, a lovely guitar-based pop song.
Produced by Bret "Epic" Mazur — known for his work with Crazy Town, Prince, and the Black Eyed Peas — Wish You Stayed finds the talented artist singing about the quiet ache of losing a relationship that once felt perfect. About the raw moments of reflection when we're left questioning how everything unravelled. A message beautifully showcased through Julia’s signature soul-stirring vocals that are accompanied by a tender guitar melody nicely paired with a subtle beat that come together to create an overall warm, intimate atmosphere perfect for a reflective day home alone.
Speaking about the song, Julia Raye said,
I wrote this song in the midst of mourning a relationship, so I took inspiration from all of the texts I sent to friends and the little notes I’d written down on my phone. Ultimately, it’s about cherishing and reflecting on the good moments, even when you know it’s time to let go.
