Miami Horror x RAC Share New Single ‘LOST SEASONS’

Miami Horror, the acclaimed electronic project led by Australian-born, LA-based producer Benjamin Plant, share their brand new single LOST SEASONS, a dreamy indietronica cut.

Taken from their highly anticipated new album WE ALWAYS HAD TOMORROW, due out February 28th, 2025 via Nettwerk, LOST SEASONS finds Miami Horror teaming up with American/Portuguese Grammy-winning producer, multi-instrumentalist, and songwriter RAC, to gift us with a bright, bittersweet melancholy gem that has a timeless appeal.

Co-written by Lach Bostock of Mansionair, LOST SEASON serves as a reminder to cherish one's innocence and remain hopeful for the future, a message flawlessly conveyed through Plant's smooth, emotive vocals. I am also very fond of the bright, shimmering synths and how they are nicely intertwined with upbeat drum patterns and catchy rhythms that come together to create an overall nostalgia-infused atmosphere perfect for a reflective weekend at home.

Speaking about the song, Plant shares,
‘LOST SEASONS’ was a true channeling of the original MH spirit. The chords were so nostalgia drenched I knew they’d have an important part in the album. We explored themes of childhood and hopefulness for the future, reminiscing on the days we can’t get back. We wanted to transport the listener back a little bit to that period of their life. The chords came early in the album's creation, I then sat on them for a few years wondering in a direction but upon working with RAC we decided to go for an indie anthem. Inspired by the euphoria and harmony of early indie rock but filtered through a modern and more electronic lens. I love the idea of taking the nostalgic emotion and energy from that early 2000s era and putting it into a new context.
