PEPTALK Share New Single ‘Blind’ ft. Keiynan Lonsdale

Australian band PEPTALK, made up of Jay-Lee Kwan (keys), Lara Frew (bass), and Phoebe Sinclair (lead vocals), share their new single Blind, a super smooth, soulful piece of Contemporary R&B. 

 

Following meeting at a Pride songwriting cam, curated by Troye Sivan, PEPTALK teamed up with triple-threat Keiynan Lonsdale to create Blind and the end result is a stunning piece of music that sonically blends Keiynan’s soulful storytelling with PEPTALK’s indie poptimism. I am a fan of Keiynan Lonsdale's gorgeous vocals and they fit beautifully with Phoebe Sinclair's dreamy vocals and ethereal harmonies, both packed with raw much soul and emotion. Blind is a song about being in a toxic relationship showing how difficult it can be to leave, especially when it's hard to explain why one stays. The song effortlessly captures overthinking those painful decisions over a chilled out R&B production that pairs lush guitar strums seamlessly intertwined with killer rhythms, lush synths and bass that create the perfect atmosphere for Keiynan and Phoebe's gorgeous vocals to soar. A great song for a chill weekend!!
