Schmoon Drops New Single ‘Bowlegged Rider’

Schmoon, the project of Portland-based singer, songwriter and filmmaker Matt Cascella, shares his brand new single Bowlegged Rider, an infectious Country/Americana gem. 

 

Taken from his upcoming album Pretty Darn Pretty, set to arrive on December 13th, Bowlegged Rider introduces us to a cartoonish analogy to the toxic people in our lives who damage everyone around them. Schmoon takes a jab at the cancerous people in our orbit through a fun and upbeat production on which his rich, expressive vocals soar effortlessly over. Accompanying his rich vocals we have an infectious Country-Americana production that pairs moseying drums nicely intertwined with washed-out guitar plucks and cool rhythms that create an overall fun and playful atmosphere that contrasts with the depth of his lyrical content.
