Tiger La Flor Shares New Single ‘LASSO THE MOON’
Japanese-Korean-American artist Tiger La Flor shares her brand new single LASSO THE MOON, an homage to the timeless romance of old Hollywood and the real-life, multigenerational love stories of the singer’s parents and grandparents.
What I like the most about this song is its timeless appeal and how warm and comforting it sounds, making it perfect for those relaxing weekends alone. Taken from her upcoming EP DRUGSTORE COWGIRL, LASSO THE MOON finds the talented artist beautifully showcasing her dreamy, enchanting vocals and ethereal-like harmonies which radiate so much soul and emotion that instantly made me feel each and every single word she is singing.
Influenced by classic singers like Nat King Cole and Frank Sinatra, LASSO THE MOON is a love letter to a time that preceded her, and a tribute to the love Tiger La Flor was surrounded by growing up. A romantic song produced by Travis Heidelman (Dasha), co-written by Niko Rubio (Gwen Stefani), mixed by Jeremie Inhaber (Meghan Trainer), and mastered by Calbi/Fallone (Kacey Musgraves, Steven Sanchez), the song evokes a longing for a time you never knew, creating an urge to romanticize the everyday. Apart from her enchanting vocals I am particularly fond of the delicate piano keys which are nicely intertwined with steady drum patterns, lush plucks and cinematic strings that come together to create a soothing, comforting and romantic atmosphere that has warmed my heart.
