Caroline Romano Drops New Single ‘Born To Want More’

Nashville-based alt-pop artist Caroline Romano unveils her brand new single Born To Want More, an evocative alt-pop/rock song about the ache of reaching for dreams that seem out of reach. 

 

I adore Caroline Romano's vocals which are delicate yet powerful and full of emotion and soul, effortlessly drawing our attention to her relatable storytelling. There's something about the sweetness of her tone that just makes the song more of a memorable listening experience, getting me super excited to want to share it with you guys. Taken from her highly anticipated upcoming EP, How The Good Girls Die, set to drop in early 2025, Born To Want More is a candid and powerful anthem that captures the ache of reaching for dreams that always seem just out of reach. A relatable song that finds Caroline's emotive vocals being accompanied by an intimate, stripped-back guitar melody that slowly builds into a frenzied indie-rock soundscape (with soaring electric guitar riffs and punchy drums) that amplifies her story of yearning and resilience.

Reflecting on her inspiration, Caroline shares,

I wrote ‘Born to Want More’ during a time when I was grappling with a series of ‘almosts’—those moments where things felt so close but still just out of reach. This song captures that wits-end feeling where you’re wondering if you’ll ever find what you’re looking for. You’re chasing experiences and feelings that you know exists but you haven’t yet found. It’s something I know all too well.  It’s by far one of my more vulnerable songs I’ve released, and it’s one of my favorites for that reason.
