Ellisa Sun Shares New Single ‘Talk to Ya’

California-born, Nashville-based Soul/Jazz artist Ellisa Sun shares her brand new single Talk to Ya, an upbeat, confident pop cut! 

 

A collaboration with producer Connor Gehlert and artist Emily Ronna, Talk to Ya is a funky, sassy pop hit which was featured in the Hulu Television series Dollface (with Kat Dennings and Brenda Song). What I like the most about this song is its infectious driving beat and funky bass that set the tone for a fun, feel-good atmosphere. Ellisa Sun's vocals are quite captivating and expressive, beautifully conveying the emotion of her storytelling from start to finish. Talk to Ya describes the feeling of being stuck in a fight and wanting to get up and get out of the house. Apart from her gorgeous vocals and killer bass, I am also very fond of the steady drum patterns and cool guitar licks that come together to create an overall warm, feel-good atmosphere!
