Avery Lynch Shares Heartfelt Single ‘the boys who don't know what they want’

Los Angeles-based singer & songwriter Avery Lynch has just shared her brand new single the boys who don't know what they want, a delicate, heartfelt song that explores the vulnerability and frustration of navigating relationships with indecisive men.

Out now via RECORDS, the boys who don't know what they want is yet another testament to Avery's exceptional ability to channel raw, honest emotion through her enchanting vocals and minimalist production. I adore how delicate, yet powerful at the same time, her vocals are, effortlessly conveying the vulnerability and raw emotion of this deeply relatable storytelling. Accompanying her dreamy, dulcet vocals we have a delicate piano-based melody that is nicely paired with subtle guitar plucks and warm atmospherics that come together to create an overall comforting atmosphere perfect for a laid-back, introspective day home alone. Have a listen to this gem below!

Speaking about the song, Avery Lynch said,
The title of the song really says it all. I wrote this song about those ‘almost’ relationships that I’ve been in myself and have observed around me — people will act the part of someone in a relationship while not wanting one, or they’ll want a relationship and not act on it. I made this song as a sister-song to ‘you’re just a guy” and, just like that song, this doesn’t feel specifically sad to me, it feels more matter-of-fact. It’s just something I’ve observed that we’ve all experienced and don’t want to experience anymore.
