Boy In Space, the moniker of Swedish singer and songwriter Robin Lundbäck, shares his brand new single Take It Easy, a passionate, super infectious piece of alt-pop music taken from his upcoming EP The Butterfly Affect!

 

Out now via BLNK Music, Take It Easy is an earworm of a pop song that instantly got me excited to share it with you guys, mostly thanks to its infectious energy and Robin's stunning vocals. This gem emerges from a year where Boy In Space has been determined to transform personal pain into a creative endeavour as he sings about having feelings for someone that you know will end up hurting you but you can help but pursue it, as the heart wants what it wants. 

 

Written and produced in Tennessee, Take It Easy finds the talented artist showcasing his gorgeous, passionate vocals over a captivating alt-pop production with touches of country music. Apart from his vocals I am particularly fond of the intricate guitar riffs that are nicely intertwined with emotive piano keys, twangy guitar lines and upbeat drum patterns that come together to create an overall warm, feel-good atmosphere perfect for a fun weekend and to sing along to!

Being in a position where you have feelings for someone who's unsure or has a past of kicking people to the curb has been something I've experienced, and when I was in Nashville I really wanted to write about it. The want to be with someone you're pretty sure will end up hurting you is a strange one, it's like the highlights you experience are worth whatever hurt is bound to strike.
