Filiah x welovemelodies Unveil New Single ‘Atlas’

Austrian singer and songwriter Filiah teams up with fellow Austrian music collective welovemelodies to deliver her brand new single Atlas, a passionate indie-pop/rock gem! 

 

Out now via Ink Music, Atlas finds the talented artist pouring her heart out and singing about personal struggle, self-doubt and the frustration that comes when we have difficulty of meeting certain expectations. It shows one's vulnerability and a deep desire to improve and hold on to meaningful relationships. Filiah effortlessly captures the inner conflict and yearning for clarity and self-worth through her effortless storytelling and rich, passionate vocals which soar effortlessly over an infectious indie-pop/rock production. 

 

One of my favourite things about this song is how passionate, and packed with raw, honest emotion, her vocal delivery is which is accompanied by intricate guitar plucks, steady drum patterns, lush strings and cool rhythms that build up in pace and energy in its anthemic chorus perfect to sing along to. I am also very fond of the way the song is quite smooth with the acoustic guitar plucks and how they change into soaring electric guitar riffs and punchy drums that enhance the passion pouring from her delivery! A great song to sing along to out loud!
