I wrote this song in London on a day when I was feeling really homesick, I had been on my own for a few days and I just wanted to be in a house in Ireland full of family and homecooking and noise. I cried when in the session over a couple of the lyric choices in the verse, I just felt so moved. im irish and sometimes I do feel like there is no place like home!
