Rebecca Haviland and Whiskey Heart Share New Single ‘Fourth Of July’

Rebecca Haviland and Whiskey Heart share their brand new single Fourth Of July, the first single to be taken from her forthcoming EP Early Mornings.

A beautiful love song, Fourth Of July finds Haviland reflecting on a relationship that didn't work out in the end, showing that all of one's relationships are important as they help us recognize the right love when we see it. A message beautifully conveyed through Rebecca Haviland's rich, powerful vocals which are accompanied by a memorable folk/americana production that pairs vintage Casiotone keyboard sounds with lush guitars and steady drum patterns that come together to create an overall warm, comforting atmosphere packed with raw emotion and soul!

Speaking about the song, Haviland said,
This is a love song, but not in the traditional sense. Each verse reflects on a different relationship in my life, one that held a lot of meaning, but didn’t work out for many reasons: we were at different places in life, had different goals, were growing in different directions. But all of these relationships were important in making me who I am and eventually helped me recognize when I had found the right love. This song is actually two songs put together. I wrote them at two separate times, and just like the story in the song, when these two songs found each other it was meant to be. We used a vintage Casiotone keyboard routed through my electric guitar pedalboard to make some of the ethereal keyboard sounds.
