What I like the most about this song is its warmth and how smooth and expressive her vocals are! Malabar Princess is a nostalgic ode to her native Switzerland and the Swiss Alps in particular. A song that highlights her dreamy vocals over a captivating blend of indie and dream pop elements that create an overall warm, feel-good atmosphere. Apart from those gorgeous vocals and stunning French language, I am particularly fond of the killer bass nicely intertwined with subtle piano keys, groovy rhythms, steady beats and delicate guitar plucks that come together to create an overall nostalgia-infused atmosphere that is quite comforting and perfect for a laid-back weekend!
