Imogen Clark Unveils New Single ‘Squinters’

Australian singer and songwriter Imogen Clark shares her brand new single Squinters, a warm and intimate song out now on Potts Entertainment.

Taken from her upcoming album Choking on Fuel, out on May 30th, Squinters is an emotionally vulnerable tale about what life could have been like if she never left her hometown, a song that will resonate with many that left their hometowns to live their lives. A song about wondering how different one's life could be, Squinters beautifully showcases Imogen Clark's gorgeous, expressive vocals that are accompanied by an acoustic guitar-based melody nicely intertwined with subtle organ keys, delicate Glockenspiel and layered vocals that create an overall warm, vulnerable atmosphere perfect for an introspective, laid-back weekend!

Speaking about the song, Imogen said,
This song is the road not taken, the life I would've lived if I'd never left my hometown. Steve Poltz and I met at a festival we were both playing and wrote this back in Nashville. It came out like a waterfall, in record time. When I play it live, people laugh at some lines and I can see the sadness of recognition in some people's eyes. The great Bryan Sutton made it feel tragic and delicate with his acoustic guitar parts and I made my glockenspiel debut on the solo.
