Jeffrey Chan Drops New Single ‘Looking’

Los Angeles based Australian singer/songwriter Jeffrey Chan shares his brand new single Looking — a sweaty, bass-driven anthem that takes queer hookup culture to the dancefloor.

I am really enjoying the tone of his voice, how deep and rich it sounds and how dynamic his delivery is, gliding sensually over the upbeat electro-pop production. Taken from Jeffrey's forthcoming EP, Looking is a gritty collaboration with Australian DJ/producer Alex Lirosi and was inspired by the familiar phrase "Are you looking?" — a loaded question in queer spaces and apps like Grindr - and finds the artist capturing the thrill of digital flirtation and the hunger for instant connection. With a blend of his passionate vocals and spoken-word hooks, Looking also pairs a bass-driven beat with catchy synths and percussive elements that come together to create an overall danceable and sensual atmosphere perfect for dancefloors and to get you ready for Pride!

Speaking about the song, Jeffrey Chan said,
It’s unapologetically horny and honest. This is our culture, our joy, our chaos — I wanted to make something that felt like all of that... but still hits hard in a club.
