Labit Unveils New Single ‘CLEANING OUT THE FRIDGE’

Labit, the folk/r&b project of singer-songwriter, multi-instrumentalist Stephen Ordonez, shares his brand new single CLEANING OUT THE FRIDGE, a warm, comforting piece of music! 

 

Out now via Romantic Records, CLEANING OUT THE FRIDGE was written with Emily Rowed and finds the talented artist singing about the desire to truly reconnect with someone, showing that sometimes all we need is a restart with that special someone to keep on building a strong, healthy loving relationship. A message beautifully conveyed through Labit's silky smooth vocals which are accompanied by delicate guitar plucks and emotive piano keys that come together to create an overall warm, intimate atmosphere perfect for a laid-back weekend!

Speaking about the song, Labit said,

I wrote CLEANING OUT THE FRIDGE" a few summers ago with Emily Rowed in the heart of Topanga Canyon. That day and this song reminded me that sometimes, pressing restart with somebody is what’s needed. Making an effort to understand each other instead of making assumptions. Dropping the ego, cleaning out the fridge, and airing it all out together.
