Loren Heat Shares New Single ‘2009’
British singer-songwriter Loren Heat shares their brand new single 2009, an upbeat electro-pop cut that pays homage to the great pop music of the late 00s!

Out now via Interval Records (EMI North/Generator), 2009 is a synth-laced love letter to a seminal year in pop music and marks the start of a bold new chapter for the talented artist. What I like the most about this song is how passionate and confident Loren's vocals are, soaring effortlessly over the slick electro-pop production. A feel-good love song, 2009 pairs Loren Heat's stunning vocals with synth-driven textures that are nicely intertwined with a pulsating beat, subtle guitar plucks and an infectious pop hook that culminate into a memorable chorus perfect to sing along to. Definitely giving me late 00's vibes with its energy and groovy rhythms yet with a modern, polished touch that I think you guys will enjoy it too!

Speaking about the song, Loren Heat said,
It’s a feel good love song, it’s a song about this pure form of intimacy, intimacy crafted by love rather than lust. not only the lyrics but the sound paint this picture of this almost ethereal gentle form of wanting someone, whether it's recurring or one night, it feels deeper than just sex. 2009 was a good year for music, there were so many bad things going on like there is now and people were clubbing to escape, they were listening to music to free themselves mentally, even just for a bit. The pop music that was released that year centered around going out and meeting people and getting someone's number etc, and so I thought given all that, it fits just right. The club scene is dying, can we bring it back, like 2009?
