Mindy Gledhill Shares New Single ‘Stained Glass Heart’

American singer and songwriter Mindy Gledhill has just shared her brand new single Stained Glass Heart, a melancholic and reflective anthem! 

 

Out now on Blue Morph Music, Stained Glass Heart was originally written for Mindy Gledhill’s 2013 album, ‘Pocketful of Poetry,’ but was ultimately cut at that time. Co-written with Trent Dabbs, Stained Glass Heart keeps the heart of its demo recording with a simple production (by Joe Corcoran) that allows for that magic and contemplative feeling to see the light of day. This is a contemplative indie ballad on loving all the colours and complexities of oneself and others through the lens of unconditional love. It shows a fragile yet beautiful love, expressing vulnerability and longing, finally embracing love in all its imperfect, transformative beauty. A message flawlessly conveyed through Gledhill's smooth, enchanting vocals which are accompanied by steady drum patterns and lush guitar lines that create an overall warm, melancholic atmosphere perfect for an introspective day home alone!
